Today is Boo's birthday & she had her party yesterday. After preschool, we raced home, had lunch and got our finest gowns on to attend the gala event in style!
Teena put a lot of planning into the party & the kids had a blast. She had a Treasure Hunt and led them through a whole bunch of rhyming, illustrated clues to find the booty. Lovey was thrilled when SHE was the one to find the stash and got to hand it out to everyone. They also played musical chairs & ring around the rosie, made pictures with stickers, decorated cupcakes and had a snack. It was a whirlwind, action packed two hours. Everyone got a loot bag on the way out that made the drive home entertaining (toot toot!!) as well. Teena was very careful to make sure they didn't get their hands on the noise makers until we were COMPLETELY ready to walk out the door. Smart! (sneaky, but smart! LOL)
The girls all had different dresses and they were so colourful together! Tulip kept cracking me up because she is so obviously used to having her picture taken. Every time I had her in my sights, she'd cock her head just a little bit & raise her eyebrows to show off her eyes. So the opposite of mine who just want to run & hide when I bring out the camera now!
