Yesterday they noticed a little bridge and wanted to check it out. They then spent an hour playing with sticks in the water, watching things float in the current, pretending to fish, looking for clam shells (and they found some! pondwater clams??? whoever heard of that???) and prancing around on the bridge. They were fun to watch because they were just so fascinated by everything about the water & everything in this little spot.

Friday Again?
It seems the weeks are going faster now that we're so much busier. Yesterday after preschool we had some lunch & then went out for a walk but never got any further than the pond next door. They've seen it a million times but never actually got very close.

Say Ahhh!
The girls went for a visit to the dentist yesterday & what a difference a year & some experience makes. Last time they wouldn't sit in the chair and hid behind me the whole time. This year they hopped right into the seat without me having to hold them. Dr. G was very impressed & told them what a great job they were doing. They'd also been practicing getting their mouths wide open earlier that morning and were ready when he told them to open up. He didn't have any trouble counting their teeth this year! They were counted, polished, flossed and fluorided (?) with no trouble. When we left, they all got to pick a trinket from the prize box.

Sweet Little Cherubs
The girls sang in the choir today at church & I was so impressed! (of course, I am a little biased...)
Sweetie said she sang extra loud so that Old Nanny would be able to hear her from where she sits in the back of our large sanctuary. : )
