New Coats.... for Pirates????????

the girls got new snowsuits and tried out the jackets today and got a lot of practice doing "arrrrrrrrrrr matey!"

We went for a walk to check out progress on Tulip's new house & she came home with us to play while her mom kept an eye on the insulation guys. They played dress up, the elephant game & then a more exciting version of the elephant game

where you don't put the top on & the butterflies just all burst out at once everywhere! Woohooo!

and some Little People castle fun too!

Grandparents=Grand Ol' Time!

Murray's parents came to visit & knocked themselves out all day Saturday doing stuff with the kids. I went to the gym Saturday morning for my circuit class & stayed afterwards to do a little extra cardio (every bit helps right???). When I got home, everyone was dressed & beds made perfectly and I'd met Honey, Murray & Nancy out for a walk while Grampy stayed home to play with the other two. We had some lunch and then they all packed up to go swimming (Grampy manned the observation booth to make sure things were under control and document the outing)

Today is Murphy's 10th Bday so we had some cake last night while his uncle Louie was here to celebrate with him. Not sure why he wasn't subjected to the same party hat torture that was inflicted on the birthday boy, we'll have to get him on his birthday next year.

Murphy was quite happy to get some chocolate cake with fudge icing (as were we!!!!!!!) and I think he had a pretty good time at his party : ))
