Talkin' Bout My Girls....

Time for a little trip to the royal kingdom with my favourite princesses. I found them new sparkly glitter shoes and they decided that the occasion warranted appropriate attire so they hauled out their biggest, pouffiest, fanciest dresses. Apparently every princess needs a queen so they dug out my Halloween costume and insisted I dress up too. (note my fancy royal sceptre!)

My loyal subjects bowing before Her Majesty :) (aka me)

A twirling we went in our magic dancing slippers

Earlier in the day, Teena & I went exploring for a spot to take their family pictures and we found lots of cool doorways and trees to set them up on so I'm looking forward to trying out this new spot! (and blogger doesn't allow me to rearrange photos easily so I'm leaving them parked here smack in the middle, sorry!)

and back to our princesses because really, who can get enough of these cuties???

This was one of my favourite shots on this particular day but this calm, peaceful demeanor is a bit misleading.... luckily she was true to form just a second later!
They wanted to get all done up with makeup and everything. This isn't new but Sweetie spied the mascara and HAD to try that out. I was a little nervous holding a pointy wand that close to her eyeballs while she jiggled around!
After awhile, my dress got too hot so I told them I was going in to change. I was inside when Lovey came flying in, racing to the bathroom. I said something about the princess and she got a little agitated.
Lovey: No No No!! Stop the GAME!
Me: What?
Lovey: I'm NOT playing right now!
Me: How come?
Lovey: I'm not in the game!!!
Me: You don't want to play princess anymore???
Lovey: No!!!!!! Princesses DON'T poop!!!!!!
One wouldn't want to sully the kingdom with royal bowel movements, now would they? Hardly able to keep from laughing, I told her I was pretty sure they did in fact poop. She gave me an impatient look as she was finishing up and said "no! and they don't wipe their bums either!" So who does that for them? the Royal Wiper?????
There was no convincing her but she got herself cleaned up and then quickly stepped back into character.

Learnin' Stuff :)

I'm taking a photoshop course & have been spending time in the evenings playing around with pictures even more so than usual. Here's some before and afters that I've practiced on. Some are extreme, just to try out different things, it's neat how much stuff you can change. I imagine it won't be long before the phrase "photographic evidence" drops out of sight! LOL You can't trust anything you see in a picture anymore. "Yes Your Honour, it does appear that I was at the scene of the crime but if you look right here in the corner, so was Godzilla!"
