The Cards That Never Were.

Although we still managed to have a Christmas tree & presents & Santa on schedule, a few traditional things didn't get done this year. I had to let a couple thing slide so Christmas cards holiday treats/baking didn't get done this year. When push came to shove, something had to go and those were the two that got away on me.

Since I went to the trouble of taking the pictures and getting them printed, I might as well share them here & hope to give out the pictures as I see people over the next little while!

Progress!

Miss me???? That was a bit longer hiatus than I'd planned but you know how things tend to blow up around here! We ended up getting involved in a bigger renovation project than we'd planned and I've been sidetracked with that. Note to self: don't ever do anything like this around the holidays again. that's all.

Luckily my dad can't stand to see us struggle our way through any project and once again came to our rescue! That man should have a big red "S" on his chest. He is that awesome!!!! The downstairs is really coming together and he & Murray put up the last of the new drywall today! The crackfillers are coming Monday bright and early and estimate that they finish that and paint in 3-4 days. I'm just not sure if he meant 4 consecutive days or not, let's hope!

The holidays are quickly wrapping up and with everything going on here, they've passed much too quickly. Honey's getting anxious to go back to see her teacher & friends, Lovey is sortof looking forward to it & Sweetie could stay on vacation forever I think!
