School seemed much better the rest of last week & so far this week! I check in with them and ask how recess was, what they played, who was there etc. Most of the time it's all the usual characters, including the girl that Sweetie was having difficulties with. Everything has been fine since the teacher talked to them all. Yesterday Sweetie came up to me and said "I'm having a great week at school Mum!" So that seems to all be resolved... for now!
Honey was quite excited when she got home on Friday and proudly pulled this out of her bookbag to show me! (wish I could remember what it was for.... apparently you can't wait a week to catch up on blogging and still have accurate info to report....)
That night, we went out to celebrate Valentine's day since I was
volunteering at the church dinner on Tuesday night. We went to a place
downtown and some people felt it required formal wear. They got their
gowns & accessories and make up and hair all done (I think they
helped each other) and then liberally applied some body glitter to add
la piece de resistance! Our waitress was quite impressed and took us straight to the most royal table they had..... waaaaaaaaaaaay in the back! She called them Princess Buttercup, Princess Smiley and Princess of (restaurant name) all night. They ate it up with a spoon! We had a great meal and they were very good little princesses with no fusses or disasters.
