Biker on the Loose!

Murray's gearing up for bike season! Andrew asked Murray to join their team for a race coming up this spring. After Murray said yes, Andrew told him that to race with him, he had to get a new bike as Murray's is older and often needs maintenance. Murray being a dutiful older brother, happily complied! Since he spends almost all his free time doing contract work so we can have extra things, he should definitely have something himself! I've been trying to get him to buy himself a new laptop but he says he's kind of attached to his non portable, semi detached, split open, missing key monstrosity he's currently using.

I'm really happy that he finally found something he wanted to get for himself!!! and in true Murray fashion, he bought almost the first thing he saw on the one shopping excursion he made. I shouldn't complain about his selection process though, his "grab the first thing that looks good" is how I got him! :)))

Happy trails Hawney!

Conversations....

We were talking at supper the other night. It was another meal that Lovey preferred to stay hungry rather than eat the boiled tripe I served. (or something equally distasteful I guess!)

Me: Lovey you're going to be hungry!
L: no I'm not! I had one bite of steak!
Sweetie: oh YEAH you are! later tonight, when you're all snuggled into your bed, you'll be hungry!
Me: I guess that's what happens to you Sweetie?
S: yeah.
Me: and when you're in bed all hungry, what do you wish?
S: I wish that there was a plate in the kitchen with a hundred pieces of bacon and a note that said "To Sweetie" on it!!!!!!!!!!!!

So much for using her to teach Lovey to eat when you've got the chance!

Saturday!

Our weekend plans got all messed up when the weather got nasty on Friday! The good news is that Murray got to come home early as everyone bailed, even the owner! Murray & Honey had plans to go see a game but it got postponed so that meant moving FamilyMovie Night to Friday instead. We watched "The Golden Compass" but the storyline was a little hazy so it felt like a lot of parts were missing...

I went to the gym on Saturday morning and it was a great class! The instructor had two sets of stations lined up and not paying attention I wandered over to the side where my regular buddies were. It turned out that was the "hard" side with all the heavier weights. Being too stubborn to move over to the "easier side" I was having a hard time keeping up with the boys but darned if I was going to give up! I'm feeling every bit of those 60 pound flies today! It's good to know I worked on something though. Look out Arnold :)

After lunch Lovey & I went to get her new shoes for the wedding & by the time we got back it was time to race off to dance class. Part way there, we realized we hadn't brought their shoes and had to zip back & pick those up & head back in. Life in the fast lane or what????

The girls are still enjoying Irish Dance and look forward to it each week. They also get to see Boo there so that ups the appeal greatly! They're starting to get the hang of the first steps they worked on but new stuff keeps getting added in so they're not bored yet! The year end show should be cute!

Friday Night Nuthouse!

They're not very excitable at all huh? and if anyone can tell me how to deactivate the below mentioned device, I'd appreciate it!
