Ummmm, better late than never???

Last week was busy as I prepared for my commercial gig for the bank at their awards ceremony. I drove there on Thurs & the evening went really well! I had to hustle to get everything done that they needed but they fed me well (steak & scallops!). It was also exciting to see my friend in her bigshot exec role! She is hot stuff!!!!!!!! :))) It was a late night & when I went to bed I was out like a light and didn't budge til morning.

The next day I drove home, unpacked & then got ready to repack for our last weekend at the cottage of 2010. We spent Thanksgiving there with Murray's family but no swimming this time! The weather was soooooo chilly but we had fun & I got to play a few games of tennis too. We celebrated Flowergirl's 21st birthday and then had our turkey dinner the next day. Somewhere in there we squeezed in a shoot for Andrew, Mandy & Bo which I'll hopefully get to processing soon. One night we set up the studio lights and played around using the dogs for our models. Andrew may or may not have posed in some risqué shots......

Mandy & I snuck off to go out shooting but I am just NOT a nature photographer! I like my sunflares though so I grabbed a shot of that. The rest are pretty dull and uninteresting so will not be posted!

On our last night we went for a walk on the public beach and let the girls run around. It was so strange to see it so empty and quiet. Of course it didn't stay that way once we let the three lunatics go wild there but still, much quieter than what it's usually like!

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving and continue to be thankful for our many blessings!!!

Night Schemers

I just went upstairs to tell the girls to settle down as they're still talking & gigglig up there. I stomped up the steps & waited at the top, thinking that words really weren't necessary.
(a little background information: they aren't allowed any TV, DS, games or toys tomorrow morning until they clean up the clothes they've thrown all over the floor all weekend)

Honey: shhhh!
~pause~
Sweetie: Did anyone come up?
Lovey: No!
Sweetie: Whew! THAT was close!
Lovey: I'm right by the door so I'd know.
Sweetie: guys, tomorrow we'll have such a looooooooooooong breakfast that Mummy & Daddy will have to clean up this room!
Lovey: I don't think we should do that.
Sweetie: wellllllllllll, it's not exactly being bad......
