The girls & I were invited to our first birthday party! Boo turned 3 this week & T invited us over today to help celebrate. All girls were dressed in their finest princess attire & fun was had by all. Those girls know how to throw a party & covered all the bases! We had a scavenger hunt, a craft, cake decorating, lunch, cake & ice cream and a trip to the park! Talk about a fun filled day : )))

Oh my gosh those pictures are sooooo cute! I was hoping you posted some last night and was excited this morning to see that you did! We had a great time! I love the pic of Anna admiring her regal attire in the mirror. Thanks for coming, and taking so many awesome pictures!

I stumbled across your blog, and have to say, I LOVE your pictures. Where did you learn to take such great pics? I'd like to purchase a 'grown up' camera, and start to take a photography course, and am wondering if you could you recommend a digital SLR to me. I'm a Pentax girl, had a film SLR & upgraded to DSLR a year ago. Up til a week ago I was just using the kit lens but now have a 50mm fixed lens that has greater depth of field (f1.4) Good forum for info on Pentax product recommendations http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/forum.asp?forum=1036.
Seems to mostly be a Canon world but I do like my camera & feel comfortable recommending it.
I took a course from a local photographer & now browse a lot of pro photographer's galleries for ideas on composition, angles etc.
