We had such a
funfilled day today, it was awesome!! First off we had gymnastics which is always a good time! Then everyone came back here after the class and the kids ran around while we moms chatted in the kitchen. Someone popped in every few minutes to see if it was lunchtime yet & to make sure we knew they were hungry. After making them wait an incredibly
loooooooooooooong time, we FINALLY had lunch ready around noon (cruel & unusual punishment, I know!) Penny had brought fruit & crackers & cheese so that stuff got gobbled up while they waited for the hot lunch to cool. Considering what they had already put away, they did quite a good jog on the rest of the lunch and even still had room for the fresh cookies if you can believe that!
All the girls (including the grown up ones!) were happy to have Tulip's older sister with us. School got cancelled today so she came to gymnastics & back to our house with us. After lunch we went outside & the girls all chased & raced around in the backyard chasing the poor girl around until she fell to the ground in exhaustion. Did they take pity on her at that point?
Noooooooooo! Easy access for tickling. Since the kids were very occupied our jobs were easy! The kids all got a couple hours worth of running around in the fresh air & that's always good! I got some laundry dried on the line and got to hang out with adults for awhile. It's a win win! After everyone else went home, Teena & Boo stayed for a movie so we got to make a whole day of it which is always a bonus! A great way to wrap up the week. Yes, I realize it's not Friday yet but Thursday is the last day of the week where it's totally up to me to entertain the kids and plan stuff. Friday is
Grammie-day and is pretty much a freebie. It always goes well with little to no effort on my part. It's
alllllllllllll about
Grammie, polish, makeup & I can't be positive, but there might be the odd treat thrown in there too. ; )
