No more 4 year olds here!

It's official. I have three 5 year olds now! Their birthday was one amazing, looooooooooong party!

Their primary concern about the day was how they were going to find time to play Polly Pockets. We'd had various problems with them when they first got them from our darling Maggie ;) and as you may recall, they were banished to under my bed until the girls were older. I kept telling them, we'll try them again when you're five. Well they took that very seriously and the day before their birthday they were talking about the plans and Honey asked "well, when are we going to play Polly Pockets??? hmmmm. at the party wouldn't be good probly. too many people around.... WHEN can we do it Mumma??!??!?!??!?" I had no idea how we were going to do that either.

They had a hard time going to sleep, the excitement was just too intense! Then when Lovey was the first one up and peeked into living room, she quickly hollered to her sisters "BAWOONS! HONEY! BAWOONS!!!!!!!!! SWEETIE! BAWOONS!!!!!!" They could hardly sit still to eat any breakfast either and as soon as they were done their jobs, they wanted those dolls out from under the bed! They are very focused and determined girls with definite priorities!

Their birthday went wonderfully and we enjoyed all the company! Their party with their friends was at 11am and they all loved the playhouse and had a grand ol' time running around, in and out of there. Those guests left around 2:30 and we had a bit of a lull before the grandparents arrived. I think Mum & Dad were both a bit excited about the birthday themselves. They both took the day off work so they could get here early for it. I think they slept ok the night before though. The girls loved answering the door all day and greeting everyone who dropped in.

Here are the pics, get comfortable, I couldn't narrow it down much. I also ran into some glitches during the editing so the colours on these are a bit whacked, sorry!

Old Nanny made a special trip out just to see them on their day! As usual she was in high demand for other social functions and we only got to see her for a few minutes :(

The girls got their own digital camera to share. I'm getting more nervous about them using mine and had looked at some Fisher Price ones but at $50-$70 each, we decided to get a half decent one instead so they can leave mine alone but it's still useful for when I don't want to take mine to the water park or beach etc. They had a blast taking their own pictures. See if you can tell which ones are their work on here ;) I'm going to have to make them their own copyright watermark LOL

In the final stages we called in the reinforcements. Tulip's dad had some experience, but he didn't feel he knew enough so he called in his brother in law, Brian Fellowes and he set everyone straight, got us some roof caps and extra tacks and then Dad & Murray finished it off in time for the big party!

People came from all over! Aunt Flups was passing through & heard about the big bash and came with Aunt Cathy for supper.

Bunny loved the party of course.

Everything and everyone got their picture taken!
