Rick & Nancy made all our beach dreams come true this year when they purchased a cottage! Not just any cottage or any old beach, but OUR beach, the very one we've been going to since I was in elementary school, AND only a few doors down from our regular spots. We are very excited to have lifelong access (if I can keep my smart@$$ mouth in check) to this spot that is already filled with so many happy summer memories and so many more to come.
They're doing a bit of work (*cough*cough*...understatement!!!) to get it ready but the fact that it's on the water, has lights and plumbing were about all we needed. The widescreen and high speed internet and other modern conveniences are added bonuses. Rick's worried about people getting their vacations booked so they can come but I think he'll soon be worried that said people may never leave! :)
We had a great afternoon on Saturday and can't wait for more beach fun!!!!!!!
