No progress

I stopped in at Honda today to pick up some things from our van and found these bewildering parts lying on the front seat. Is that a spark plug? Still no word from them on the exact extent of the problem and I have a feeling that this isn't one of those "no news is good news" scenarios...

They said they thought they might get to it today or tomorrow and no call yet so hopefully we're on tomorrow's schedule!

So far we still don't know anything for sure but:

$180.80 Towing back to town
$ 79.00 first garage tells us this is basically out of their league
$ 67.00 tow from 1st garage over to Honda

We're over $300 in, nothing fixed and that's probably the cheap end of the total expense... unless Honda takes pity on us! Their vehicles should last more than 150,000km right????
