Word of the Day!

You know how kids like to use big words sometimes? Lovey's reading "Smells Like Treasure" in bed one night.

Lovey: Mum!!! How do you say "h-o-n-
(insert 1st interruption here by Honey)
Lovey: o-r-i (another question from Honey)
Sweetie: (random question hollered from the next room)
Me: (trying to keep track of 3 separate conversations at once) oh! sounds like honor...
Lovey: f-i-c-a
Honey: (more jibber jabber to break what little train of thought I'd managed)
Lovey:b-i-(mumble mumble)d-i-n
Me: wait! are you still on the same word????
Honey (another question)
Sweetie (random comment probably related to bathroom stuff as it's followed by mad giggles)
Me: Lovey, can I see the word? I can't make out what you're spelling.

Ok, are you ready for this????

honorificabilitudinity!!!!

I didn't read the whole section to see WHY this was there but they immediately explained that it meant "honourableness". However that wasn't the last we've heard about honorificabilitudinity! She repeated it over and over, until she could rattle it off smoothly. She has practiced this so  much and so often that I can hear it in my head even when she's not around!!!

She now likes to go up and ask people if they know what honorificabilitudinity means. Be prepared, you could be next :))
